Throughout my career, I have also had the opportunity to work on projects for Jil Sander as part of the Zimmer Studio team in Milan, and work for diverse multi-brands in USA, Asia, and Europe.
Having worked internationally, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of how to reveal the uniqueness of every product and communicate the authenticity of a brand to its audience. In my work, I also strive to respond to global events and contemporary dynamics, creating spaces that are both relevant and timeless.
I am an architect and designer based in Milan. Together with a team, we develop retail spaces and furniture, working with clients worldwide.
Cano Limarino is my surname. My family has Russian and Bolivian roots, which has always inspired me to explore different cultures and mentalities. Therefore, right after graduating from the architectural institute in Moscow, I pursued a master's degree at IAAC University in Barcelona, where I delved into the realm of advanced technologies in architecture, including tools such as robotic design, virtual reality, and parametric design. This experience farmed my vision beyond standards, with a focus on new technologies and the future.
Later, while working in Ricardo Bofill's studio, I had the opportunity to be part of projects at various scales, ranging from city-scale developments to airports and museums in China, Saudi Arabia, and Europe. This experience shaped my approach to work, emphasizing the importance of paying attention to details while maintaining a global perspective. Perhaps that's why I place particular emphasis on details, fabrics, and textures in my work, always focusing on creating a unified vision.
